24 hrs of Daytona is upon us!!!

I just found out that iRacing is hosting the 2.4 hrs of Dayton the morning before the race. Should be interesting to see if I can survive a 2.4 hr race without wrecking/crashing out...

What is the TV coverage like for this?

I'd have to double check but I think coverage starts around 2PM on Saturday on the Speed channel and runs until around 10PM. It then breaks for a while and cotinues at 7AM on Sunday and goes to the end of the race.

Tonight at midnight there is a special on Speed about the teams preparing for the race.

How did you do in the 2.4? I finished 8th in the 6th split. It was a fun race, and it really seemed like time flew by.

Instead of racing in the 2.4 I had to work all weekend... but I did get to watch the race while I worked. Sun Trust had nothing but bad luck (other than being able to finish... and in sixth). But at least SpeedSource won GT :)
