Good people.
The last time I had a Miata alignment was years ago and the hot ticket on the West Side was actually in the Mid Cities. Does anybody have a shop or a tech or both that they recommend in Fort Worth (or nearby)?
DFW Frame and Alignment was the place Mike Kuhn recommended back in the day. But that day has passed long ago...... No longer worth the drive.
I plan to give Jewel Auto a try next time I need an Alignment.
Peterson's on 28th & Beach has gotten mine dead nuts on every time I've been there
Thanks guys. DFW Frame and Alignment was where I had my last one. I'll give Jewel Auto a shot. It's nearby. I'll report back when I do but I'm not in a big rush. My Miata is a spare/toy car so it doesn't get used every day in the winter. The reason I ask is because a) I've only put about 5,000 miles on it (1,000 to bring it home) so it's still new to me and its alignment is unknown and b) I can get the rear end loose way too easily. It has good Toyo Proxes T-1Rs on it, a factory sport suspension, and a stock driveline so I would expect it to stick fairly well but it doesn't.
Shoot Onething a PM he can put you in contact with the correct guy at Jewel Auto.
Excellent!
Peterson's
What's left of a '96 Miata with stock clutch.
My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.

I'm going to NTB in Lewisville I guess since I have a 2-year and asking them to align it, letting them know that no test-drive will occur without me in the car, and and tipping the tech $20 to get it on my specs.
I'd love to use a buddy or whatever to get this done but there are not enough hours in the day for me to coordinate all this crap.

You might consider being a little less curt when you speak to them. Keep in mind that your two-year deal only covers stock alignment, so unless you are a real nice guy to them, they will be happy to align your car to factory specs and nothing else. That is all that they are liable for.
