I have Freeman Mazda in Irving cut a key off the VIN. They only caviate was that they insisted I proved I owned the car before they would cut the key. I had 2 made and both worked great.

I just had to show my insurance to get my key cut at Town North. Sucks they stopped making the square Mazda key that came with the early NA's...

The early keys were made of soft metal. One time I pull my 1990 keys out of my pocket and it was bent at a 90 degree angle.
    1990 White NA - SOLD
    1994 Black NA - SOLD
2006 Red NC - GT with limited slip, HIDs, all OEM.
