Thread: Parts are a flying

    Default Parts are a flying

Just shipped the megasquirt fuel injection system from my CJ to Maryland.

A friend is coming to pick up the custom Autometer guage cluster and sensors today. With these parts gone I have already made $1900 off of the CJ and all of the big ticket items are still for sale.

Giving up 4 wheeling or ready for a new one?
Maybe 4 wheels aren't so bad after all... wickett.org

Bought this to replace it. Selling off the CJ to pay for upgrades for it.

Decided I wanted something I could drive all over the place and not worry about trailering it.

Actually I have already sold the tub and frame. I just need to remove everything else from it.

I remember when Cherokees were Limited. Can't imagine the possibilities of an Unlimited!

I'm sure it'll look fine once it gets some dirt on it.

Yeah the new one is a cream puff. Its an '06 with 34K miles on it when I bought it. 100% stock and in great shape. I decided hard core rock crawling was not the type of wheeling I like. So I am building the new one as a road trip/mountain trails vehicle. Once it's good I am going to purchase one of these to take camping when I go on vacations:

    Lil Rough Rider

The Unlimited has alot more room for camping equipment then a normal TJ Wrangler. Especially when the rear seat is removed.

I have already put slightly larger tires on it, locked the front axle and new gears.

Need to get rocker protection, front winch bumper and rear heavy duty bumper before I do any serious off-road stuff in it.

    Gilmer
    Clayton, OK
Bridgeport Texas just opened a decent off-road park.
Katemcy Rocks just outside of Mason, TX. They lost the lease to their old property last year but are opening on a new piece of land this spring.
    Disney, OK
If you like sand, there is Little Sahara State Park in Oklahoma
Hot Springs AR has a good off-road park
All through the mountains of Colorado or the Moab Utah area.

One day I plan on running the Rubicon trail in California.

It all depends on how far you want to drive to have some fun.
