Cool tool!
I purchased a new tool today that allows removal and installation of control arm bushings with ease. If anyone is thinking about doing this job, fee free to head over here with control arms, bushings, and a small donation to the tool fund.

NP.. and it is on sale this week for $40... was $32 with a 20% off coupon!
Even for 40 bucks it's a steal in my book. When I'm jacking with something that is not cooperating I'm willing to pay a hell of a lot more than 40 bucks for the right tool lol.

Yea I know it is an old post. Don't care!
Anyone on the Westside got this setup?? Did it work well??
I have press tool from HF...Jimmy used it on his car (I think).
I have one of these, used to use it for replacing U-joints on my Jeepcar. Haven't used it on any bushings, but you're welcome to borrow it if you like. I'm on the west side, drive from Grapevine to Azle daily via 183 - 820. I'll also be at Pennington field on Sunday.
I have the three jaw pullers that others have used. I've got the ES kit to install.
POS, want to knock out two at one time one of these fine weekends?

from what I understand, putting the ES bushings IN doesn't require more than hand force. Now if you were putting new OEM ones in they need pressed.
I've had ES bushings in the past never again.
Plan to go back with stock pieces.
I never thought I would say this, but Sam's tool was pretty easy to use, but a little cumbersome. You will need an impact wrench and a second set of hands.
I'm doing ES bushings very soon considering they're in the bedroom and my GF didn't appreciate them to the same degree that I did.
