    Default Dallas Auto Show pix!

Just got back from the show... thought I'd share my pics. Pretty good show this year - better than last year, I think. Oddly enough, BMW wasn't there. Got to see the Lexus LFA up close, and while it looks mean in flat black, there's just something very "meh" about it. Perhaps it's the fact that even with all the added lightness and exotic construction, it still weighs more than a Corvette Z06, only has 45 more hp, and is way down on torque. That plus the obscene $375K price tag just doesn't impress... Meh.

Anyhow, I liked the little '91 Nissan Figaro, and I thought the Buick LaCrosse looked pretty strong as a Lexus ES-fighter. Also cool was the Subaru GTK - a Legacy wagon concept with a racing go-kart stuffed in the back. Good times all around...

    PICS...

Nice pix. Thanks for posting. I was distracted on the third shot by the tourquoise and white '57 Chevy station wagon in the background. Guess I'll always be a tchevy fan.

Is it just me or did that LFA look a lot like a Celica?

Not at all in person. It looks fantastic and was smaller overall than I thought. Pretty interesting how the Audi R8 still had a big crowd around it after a few years.

I think the OP's camera is slightly out of focus.
