Default Tires, mount balance and allignment

I am about to order my new tires Tuesday.
Discount Tire(last I checked) wanted around 90-100. to mount and balance....does anyone know a better deal in Ft Worth?

Also, last time I checked around, i couldn't get any info on some good allignment #'s, for the NC for us guys who like the good turn in...lol

And I need a good allignment shop in Ft worth, anyone know of a good place?

    Thanks!

After i get this done I will be replacing the X brace under my car that got torn off by a armadillo....with the I.L. Motorsport brace.

FWIW - I know PTPForrest was getting a new alignment rack, plus they can corner weight, and mount and balance tires and he is in Ft. Worth.

You may want to shoot him a note.

Since you neither track nor autocross your car, why not just use factory alignment specs?

Just because I havent yet done those things with my new NC, doesnt mean I still dont drive that way on the street

Here are some numbers posted by Brian Goodwin in his forum. Seems like a credible source since he actually tracks an NC.

    FRONT
    camber -1 to -1.5
Toe IN 1/32 to 1/16th per side
CASTER...as much as you can get with the settings above

    REAR
    Camber -1 to -1.5
Toe in 1/32 to 1/16th per side

If you really care of the tires, do the -1 camber. If you want more performance in exchange for giving up some tire life...push front and rear camber toward more in the range of -1.3 or -1.5.

right on thanks guys!, I really wanted the Star Specs but....since my battery craped out today i had to settle for the Hankook V12's.

    Maybe next year...

Next I. L. Motorsport X brace and the car will be solid again...woo hoo :)
