    Neither does a LS1.

    How much torque would you be making? The reason why the LS1 MX-5 initially pulled on the F430 was mainly because of torque.

    1500 rpm "idle" with throttle down? Look up idle in dictionary and come back to me.

    I don't know, I made 262 and 254wtq on the dynojet with the old set-up.

    and it has a big-time aero advantage, especially compared to a Miata with the top down.

    That's why it pulled on the Miata after about 140mph. The guy driving the Miata in that video regularly responds to comments on there. He recently upgraded the cam in his LS1 and is now making over 70hp more on top of the 314hp already there. The F430 owner refuses to race again. I wonder why.
