I had Paradigm speakers for several years and loved them. I sold them to a member of this forum last year. There are better speakers out there, but IMHO nothing can touch them in their price range. I was turned on to Paradigm when I worked in radio. The station I worked for had them in all of the studios.

Me?, Yep I've had several Paradigm speakers. Everything from Current top of the line S8, Studio S60, Some older Studio 20's and one sub. Whacha wann know. Paradigm do have a very nice lower end and top end. The mid range does have a somewhat "poly" sound, but nothing that I would call bad. If you are OK with buying used audiogon.com is the place to look. BUT LOOK out for the knock off of Paradyme. DO not buy from a guy in a white van. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_van_speaker_scam
as far as speaker go I've also had:
Klipsch Klipschorns, Heresey, La Scalla and the llittle sattalite speakers Quentets
Magnepan 2.6R and MMG LIstend to some 1.6QR
M&K full surround S-150P (yes the self powered beasts)
    M&K S-1C M&K subs
    Blose

What do you want from your speakers?

    My current setup is:
    3-B&W N802 for fronts
    4-B&W SCM1 for surrounds
    Lexicon MC-12B processor
    2-Classe C-150 amps for fronts
    Rotel RB-1050 amp for surrounds
    Optima HD-720 Front Projector
Pioneer Elite Blue Ray Player BRP-23FD
and a home made sub with 3-15" Adire Audio Tempest driver with a EP-1500 driving them at 4ohms at 4500 watts.

Hmm what is decent? Are we talking about your decent or my decent? I'm just curious because I don't want to offend anyone else's decent...
