Ya may want to talk with http://www.atsracing.net/ in Denton the specialize in the MR2.
Girlfriend has a 86 MR2 that she is getting back together. Finishing up on an engine rebuild and starting up on cosmetic work. We're looking for suspension bits and chassis bracing to get it setup for some good fun rail like handling.
Having a hard time finding chassis bracing for it. Anyone know of a good source for MR2 chassis and suspension upgrades??

Do they really need much additional bracing? I know the 88+ came with a factory strut tower bar, so look for one on ebay, mr2oc.com, etc.
Another source for MK1 MR2 performance parts is probably: www.smithsonian.com

I don't know really don't know much about the car, so you might be right though I didn't see any bracing on the car anywhere. Just seems that anytime I think about upgrades for a car bracing and suspension come up in my mind first now. ATS is going to be one of her sources for parts and info, we've been browsing the intarwebz a lot trying to get upgrade info.
