He went with the Dunlops. I've run both Azenis 215 and 615 prior to getting the 615K's I currently run, and I can tell you they are substantially grippier than the older versions, maybe grippier than anything else out there, definitely more than the Kumho XS or Star Specs, but they do get greasy when overheated, and they are hard to cool down. I think a shaved set would potentially be a little better about heat-tolerance. Last month's GRM has a good write-up about all of these tires. Hope that helps.
