A bad ground won't blow a fuse. Only a short to ground in the power circuit. Check the wires for a worn piece of insulation, pinched wire, broken connector, etc.
For some reason my driver side headlight appeared to be burn out and when i went to check it, the bulb was fine even swapped it with the other side to make sure. It did however blow a fuse, swapped it out, and it blew again. Now the headlights are flickering, anyone have any ideas?
edit do you think it's a bad ground somewhere?

I checked the wires and they seemed to touch through the heat shrink so I replaced themm but now it seems the ballasts(hids) might have gotten messed up so I'll test those when I get home because the lights are still flickering.
HIDS will flicker if there is not enough voltage to the ballasts. Could the short have drained your battery? Check the output from the Alternator. If its not 14+v then there is either a significant load (battery not fully charged or short) or your alternator is not performing correctly.
I had HIDS on my RAM 3500 Cummins. When the intake heater grid would cycle while it was cold, the headlights would actually turn off because of insufficent voltage. I had to remove them and put the stock lights back on because I could not drive when it was dark and cold.
Hudson hawk thank you very much, the short did drain the battery, i jumped it and it was good to go. :)
