3/8" Long drill for Roll Bar install

I am going to install my Roll Bar tomorrow.

I have heard you need a longer than normal bit for the installation. How long are we talking?

I think we typically use 18". You might ask if you can borrow one from someone on the forum.

I picked one up for $12 at HD.

I live so far out in the sticks that it would cost more than that to drive into civilization to borrow one.
