Last week was a decent turn out, the cold weather seemed to keep people bundled up at home. A LOT of people were showboating though, this is unacceptable.

The meet group can now be found on Facebook, this is best if you want constant updates on what's going on and who will be attending each week. It also has updated rules and frequent updates weekly. It's a public group so feel free to join!

Did you kick them all out then? I've noticed that showboating isn't tolerated, and that you guys will kick them out if it's being done... did that happen? I haven't made it out to one of these to see what the atmosphere is like.

Most of it has been when they are leaving, so there isn't much we can do when that happens.

Drifting, peeling tires, just causing a ruckus overall.

It was a few other people too. A procharged 3 series was trying to purposely spin tires on his way out, a GTR did a clutch dump down the ramp, and the Honda crew was causing tons of noise.

Not to defend people (and I wasn't there, so I don't know the story), but a lot of the 240 guys in FL had welded diffs, so if they pulled into a parking garage/lot sometimes they couldn't help but sound like they were driving like idiots. They used to catch a lot of crap from people that didn't know that and just assumed they were immature drivers. Just something to keep in mind.

And yes, that is 100% different than clutch dumps and the other things you mentioned.

I know how a welded diff sounds, and none of these guys had one. The way that sounds, you can tell they have one from the minute they pull up, that wasn't the case last Sunday.

Yup, that's why I said I wasn't there so I don't know how it was Just saying that a LOT of people have no idea about that, so the instant I hear someone complain about a 240 in a parking garage, I have to question if the person actually saw the offending car or just heard it. In FL just about every 240 had a welded diff, so more than likely that's all the "problem" was.

And I would have been there this past Sunday with the Z guys I know, but my car isn't running and most Z guys canceled for various reasons. I'll get out there one day though - it's much closer than the Keller's meet.

The Wed night meets actually started out with a few of us Miata guys joining the 240 guys for their Wed night meet. They were always really cool and respectful of the laws back then. It wasn't until a bunch of non Miata/240 guys started showing up and attracting attention by being stupid that the Miata crowd broke off and started doing our own thing.

I'll be there tonight. Hopefully we wont have any retards bouncing off their Rev-limiters leaving like last week. I was at the Octoberfest last night and it sucked IMO ,
The parking garage was full on the first and 2nd levels myself and 5 others were on the 3rd and no one was on the top
