I have an experienced rallyist who is looking for someone to run with. He usually drives, so I can't say for sure that he will navigate. But if you will email [email protected], I will put you two in touch.

Ran some really cool roads today!

Kid and I had a great time not sure how we finished up her schedule did not allow for us to stay for trophies.

    Some Pics!

I saw a shiny black hardtop roll by as I was sitting at DQ in Weatherford. Maybe that was FI994K???

Were the Joseys there? What about a guy named Bobby in a TR6?

Sorry I couldn't make this event. It sounds like a great drive. A friend of ours started a new car club, CustomRides Car Club, and the first event the club attended as a group was Christian Classic Cruisers car show yesterday and my husband and I had promised we'd go to that. Turned out pretty good. We won Club Participation award along with some individual awards. My Miata WON in the Import Class!

Now that this rally is over can someone post the route map? This really sounds like a drive that would be enjoyable to take to see some parts of TX I haven't been to yet. Thank you.

I agree, post the route map! I was going to try to make this event, but I couldn't find a navigator that was available early on a Saturday.

I went autocrossing instead. All in all, not a bad day!

"maps we don't need no stinking maps"

When you are a participant you get Route instructions no maps.

Maybe sccarally will have a map.

^^^ point taken. I knew that...LOL. What I was actually trying to ask for was the route so if anyone still has their "route instructions" I'd be interested unless they had to be turned in at the end of the event.

Unfortunately I was unable to attend the event. After discussing the weekend plans with my wife, we decided friday night at appx 11pm that it would be too much for us to give 5+ hours on saturday to this event. I was bummed out since it looked like it would be a great drive, but there will be more opportunities.

ken o and I passed those two Jags on the way back from the NTAXS event Saturday. They were pulled over on the side of FM113 just south of Millsap, iirc.

I saw the red Jag (tan top up) on the way home too...just west of Weatherford on I-20.

If someone had their GPS running during the event they can pull the route off of that via a GPS track. I've got the route off of my GPS for the Clear Blue Sky Rally which had a bunch of good roads north of Fort Worth. It's in GPX format I'll post it later if someone wants it.

If I went to all the trouble of putting together a rally, I would want to keep the route so I could use portions of it again.
