Default Class Winner in my first ever car show

Sorry I missed the Weatherford Rally yesterday but my husband and I had committed to attend Christian Classic Cruisers car show in North Richland Hills and couldn't squeeze both events in.

This was the first time I ever entered a car show and my Miata was a Class Winner in Imports. I was very pleasantly surprised since there were some really nice import cars there of various makes.

    Here's a couple of pix.

    Congratulations.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Thanks all. The car is still bone stock, except for the seat covers and license plate holders. 5-speed manual. It's the "Base" model, I think that's one up from the "Spec" one. My first mod, when the weather gets too ugly to enjoy driving it every weekend, is to get black striping painted on it. I already have the job lined up to be done by a friend of mine in Crowley who owns a paint and body shop. I'm going to do a European racing type stripe. A 6 - 8" wide stripe front to rear with pinstriping on either side of it but offset so it is on the driver's side instead of down the center.

Cool. Once Widow gets back from Rogue's I plan on entering it in a few shows.
