Boooo!!!!
Oy, thats a crock of shite!
Vulcan Tire is listing the pricing for the new Azenis. Compared to the pricing they have for the old, the 14s have gone up 70% (from $46 to $78 ) and the 15s have gone up 35% (from $68 to $92).
A note on RT-615 pricing. You probably have noticed that the RT-615 is priced significantly higher than the older RT-215 (Azenis Sport). We assure you this is not an attempt to gouge our fellow auto enthusiasts. These tires are marked-up using our standard, value-minded Falken markup. Falken Tire Co. has chosen to set the price point much higher on this new tire.

Another interesting note... Try playing with the shopping cart, and look at shipping weight. They estimate the weight of the sports as 92 lbs a set (23 each). The 615s are listed as 84 lbs a set (21 each).
Well fellas, I officially declare a run on the RT-215's... get 'em while they last!
So who has the best price shipped to DFW?
Might as well run R compounds....
Maybe the price will creep down over time. J/K
Shipped?
There are several Discount Tire shops that will do $45 for the 215's. I hate to sound but try searching.... both sammmy and TC have deals going on.
$10 cheaper for me. 16" size, that is...
There may be more truth in that than you think. Kumho has given Hoosier something to think about with the success of the V710, and Avon is supposedly redesigning the Tech R to be more competitive with the A3S04 and V710. More competition certainly won't drive prices up.Originally Posted by joe.MIATA
Besides, given their performance (and the cost of the A3S04), Kumho probably could have charged more for the V710. Instead, a 205/50-15 V710 (which doesn't require shaving) costs a mere $3 more than a similarly sized Ecsta V700 (shaved), and $4 more than a similarly sized Victoracer (shaved), while offering a heck of a lot more performance.

Sounds like someone needs 2 sets of BBS rims.Originally Posted by Treibenschnell
