Maybe 4 wheels aren't so bad after all... wickett.org
It only goes to show when people can no longer discriminate on the grounds of race, religion, or sexual orientation, they can improvise and still find someone to hate. - Dave Moulton
Yeah, looks like he got a provisional. I'd expect that 47 to get thrown out in audit.

Now shows a 4th run of 65.239....but he was winning for a little while!!!
I hope the same thing just happened in ESP! either that or the guy ran 4+sec faster that Madarash....NAhhhhhh!
Edit - Whew - already corrected... Mark 1st The General 6th with one run to go.
I ended up 22 of 43, which is better than last year's 28 of 46 finish. Like day one, I coned my first two runs and had to ease off a little in order to get a clean run. I had a good time and I will probably return next year.
Oh, and I pulled my calf chasing a cone, today. I almost had to ride back in the sweep car, but I toughed it out. Just needed a salt tablet.
Still can't walk well, though.
BTW, the STS winner was in a 1.6 Smurf that still had the stock passenger seat, heavy 15x7.5 Rotas like mine, OTS Koni Sports in the rear, and re-valved Koni Sports in the front. He had a Megasquirt, but with only a few hours of dyno time to tune it the day before they left for the event. It goes to show, that mad skilz can win over money. I have neither.
BTW, plenty of good Nats pics here:

No photo evidence of it, but me too. Three of them on the second day.... coning away a 12th place finish that was well into the trophies.
Mr Wortham, however, was able to put together two great days and brought home hardware for the second year in a row, in as many trips to nationals. That just doesn't happen in that class. Kick BUTT!
Jeremy and Jon both made the stage too, Jeremy in 12th and Jon in 17th.
Next year - a TX Region sweep of the trophies for SS.
A Z06 is just like a Miata, but with the other half of the motor . . .
I think it was that 2006 SCCA Texas Region Solo School that we both attended our first year of autocrossing, but worked for him a little more than me.
Congrats, mwortham, it's very impressive. Congrats to all of the other trophy winners, too. I know how hard it is to come by those things.
there's a reason we call him flat spot Phil http://gotcone.com/pgallery/2010_scc.../sts/img_3378/
Cone 421 West Course, back wall. When I worked 1st heat on Thursday as a fill in we estimated that well over 50% of the runs resulted in an intimate encounter with this cone.

a couple of the ST pilots hit it every run....
