I really like my Toyo T1R for the street. They are great in the rain, quiet, and grippy, but I don't think you will find your size in the price range you want.
Time to put some new rubber on the street wheels, so I'm soliciting tire suggestions. 16x8 wheel, currently running 225/50-16 on my NC.
Ideal tire:
- Excellent wet traction
- Quieter than average
- Under $100
- Reasonably grippy
Don't care about brand, trackability, longevity, speed rating, etc. I've got my 17x9 wheels for the track/autox tires. Just want to get a solid set of DD tires and not spend Michelin Pilot Sport money to get them.
Thought about Dunlop DZ101's, Yohohama S-drives, and a bunch of Kumho and Falken offerings...

sdrive good, not cheap though.

Thx. I'm flexible on price and such, just figured I'd describe the "perfect" tire and then settle, kinda like Leilani did...
