    Identifying marks on it? Defrost?

So the California trend of stolen hardtops makes it to Texas, lovely. Are miatas gonna be the new Honda of stolen cars next?

Nice lock. Is it mandatory that it be purple anodized?

$180 for locks isn't chump change though. Maybe Spec Miata hardware with security bolts would be more TCB.

I'd be curious to hear more details. Where was the car parked?

$180 might not be cheap, but that is for 2 of them. Also the top costs a heluva lot more than that. you could do what sport compact car did and mold your hardtop into the body. :P

I think I may go the "spec" route too since I don't put it on and take it off too often. Plus the fact that my latches are giving me problems.

TCB solution (and the one I'll probably take): http://www.rennenmetal.com/proddetail.asp?prod=1335side Only $27 (powdercoated) plus shipping and four security bolts. Knock off $4.50 if you rattle-can them yourself.

p.s. I also got their #2280 Accelerator Pedal Cover and love it. YMMV

I had the same problem with a roll bar and door bars installed. Blue Thread-Locker cured it.
