Giving life to an old thread.
I failed today on the nox (in the 2000s). Get to take it back as many times as it takes within 15 days. Guess I'll try some rxp and see what it does.

Does your EGR work?

Don't have one on the car. I'll bump the timing down and add rxp and see what happens.

Mine recently passed inspection with 213K miles. It barely passed the HC test, but I did put on a high-flow cat this past year.

I went down this road last year, you will most likely fail without the EGR because the computer is leaning out at idle and cruise because it thinks there is an EGR there. You need to run it fatter at idle and that's not going to happen. Good luck. Make sure the hood is up and pour a couple bottles of HEET in the tank.
