I was under the impression that they couldn’t give the Hummers away…. Literally…. A dealership in Southern California was (is?) giving away an H2 with the purchase of an H1. It seems obvious to me that this was a fad of the rich that crashed as fast as it appeared.

Why GM would try to expand this line in this way is beyond me. I can’t imagine that there are many people out there saying to themselves, “Gee, I really would like a hummer, but it just doesn’t have enough power.” PLEASE…what else are the people in this limited market buying instead of the Hummer with more power? I just don’t see whom they expect to steal the customers from by adding power. Time to throw in the towel GM… go back to selling the H1 to the military (and of course Arnold).

I was going to buy a Hummer, but decided it was cheaper to get a tattoo on my forehead that reads I NEED ATTENTION.
