Also note that you should paddock facing north-south rather than in the same direction as the parking spaces.
It's the last SCCA autocross of the season folks, so get your autocross fix while you can.
More info at http://www.autocross.com/tr.
Here is the course map. Please note the instructions on the bottom left for getting to the correct lot. You will be lost of you do not have them.

Also happening at this event - the Ditch the Spare Tire Contest is back for the 2010-2011 off season. In case you don't know what that is, or have forgotten:
In case you missed it in 2010, DtST is a contest like the popular TV show ‘Biggest Loser’ except we won’t send you to camp to lose the weight and you won't get to be on TV. Oh yeah, and you won't have a personal trainer, cook or nutritionist on retainer either. You're smart - you can do all that stuff yourself. So it's just like the show in concept if not precise execution.
Contestants will weigh in with the official DtST scale at the November 7th event at Lone Star Park. Lose as much weight as you can during the off-season. We’ll have a final weigh in at the first event in 2010 to determine the winners.
In addition to being healthier and lighter (read faster!), we’ll award free entries for 2011 events accordingly:
2 Grand Prizes - Free Entry into ALL 2011 regular season events
- Largest percentage weight loss
- Largest total weight loss (most lbs)
1 Free Entry into any 5 2011 events
- 2nd Largest percentage weight loss
1 Free Entry into any 2 2011 events
- 3rd Largest percentage weight loss
Think of the percentage weight loss like a human PAX index – start with a more capable machine and it’s a little more difficult to stay on top!
Rules:
• Entry is free and open to anyone who wants to participate
• There must be at least 8 contestants signed up at the November event for us to kick off the contest with 4 awards. If there are less than 8 contestants there will only be 2 awards – 1st and 2nd place for largest percentage weight loss.
• You can’t win 2 awards - If the winner of the largest percentage loss also has the largest total loss we’ll move to the next person on the list, etc.
• Anyone caught lining their pockets with wheel weights, rocks or other items of great mass at the November weigh-in will have to do the final weigh-in naked. At the drivers meeting.
Sign up by showing up at the event

A Z06 is just like a Miata, but with the other half of the motor . . .
too bad there's not a dtst contest during the year...
Some of us worked hard over the summer :)
And some of us who won last year (with a near 30 pound loss) have gained weight throughout the summer.
In fact, I've gained much of my weight back and I'm now in perfect shape to start a new DtST.
Next year during the season we need to have a "Keep the spare tire off" contest. We could see who gains the least amount of weight.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Good job Sean! That's awesome.
I dropped most of the weight before Colin was born at the end of april. It's been hard to find time to run since then, but I'm finally working back up to 15 miles a week. I'm about 185 now, shooting for 165-170 (I was 172 when I went to flight school at age 19).

Don't forget time change is this Sunday. Fall back 1 hour.
Don't forget to paddock facing north/south so you are not going uphill or downhill. This will help those that are changing tires.
Also, don't forget to note the directions at the bottom of the map. We'll know if you don't because we will watch you go up and down the street trying to figure out how to get to the lot.
Someone please don't forget to have porto-johns.
