The harness is complete it is just cut in half on the main line running from firewall to the engine. It is missing the MAF wiring. It is more ideal to just pull pieces off of it that you need to run the engine since miata harnesses are nearly the same. Just some different style cam sensors, VVT etc. I also just stole the water pump from it. No rush to sell it but it's more or less just a paper weight in my garage. I can get compression numbers, but I assure you I pulled it from a running car. I do have stock exhaust, ac compressor, intake manifold and alternator as well.
Oh, I don't question that you pulled this from a running car. Just interested in the health of the rings, valves/seals, et al. I've kinda been looking for a '01 short- or longblock for a minute, especially one in a nice price range like yours.
Roughly speaking, where in the Dallas area is the engine? I might have to see about stealing a friend's truck for a day or something.

allen... well i have a compression tester. I'll have to hook it up to a starter and give it a whirl
