Is the up/down button for the lights pushed on the dash?
Anyone have this issue before?
Came home the other evening, and as I turned off my headlights, the barn doors decided not to retract. Headlights turn on and off normally, but the pods are stuck in the open position.
Haven't had a lot of time to research this issue, hence my post.
Thanks.

Have they been stuck up for more than 4 hours?
Maybe my Team Miagra ownership has infected my '94??

IIRC, if the plug on the back of the pop-up switch comes loose or the switch is bad, the lights won't retract. I'd start there... or maybe check the fuse.

I had a similar issue with a spot welded bracket that holds the electronics for the barn door controls. Have you had some water in the footwell on the driver's side? The bracket is spot welded at the factory through a small hole in the cowl. Water leaks onto the floor through the hole. The bracket falls down and causes the barn door controls to act wierd. From what I read on the pointy board, this problem is unique to 1994s.
