BTW, they have a STM group that is a lot of fun. All you need is street tires. Other than that, it's all fair game.
Thought the season was over, huh? Well, think again.
OZMDD and I are heading down to the Texas A&M Sports Car Club event this Sunday. We'll meet at the McDonalds in Hearne at 7 AM. Feel free to join us.
This group puts on a fun event at a great venue. There is a lot of room and a ton of grip. Plus, if you have any aspiration for SCCA Nationals, it is the same type of surface -- concrete runway paid for by your grandparent's taxes.

Well, OZMDD bailed on me, but it looks like General Default is signed up. I am still going, but unless someone else speaks up, I will not plant to stop at McDonalds in Hearne.
Sorry, going to MSR for the day.
M3 is always the answer.
Poor Jimmy you may want to add this song to your road-trip tunes.
I feel better about having to skip this one, now that I see the opportunity it provided POS!

How was it? Sounds like it was a breeze (pun intended)
Hit any cones?

The wind knocked over the table with the timing equipment just before the event started and they never got it working after that. So, they had to manually start and stop the timers.
Still, it was a fun day on a course with some different elements.
I would have done well if I did not cone every run. Sigh.
Maybe next time I can make it. I'll have to keep my eyes open for the upcoming events.
