Thread: Fog light covers

    Default Fog light covers

Hey guys. I just got my first question. I must have hit something. So, both of my fog light covers broke. The right one still works, and there is only a small cut in the glass. But the left cover (driver site) is completely gone. A new one is about 170$. Has any body an idea, or some experience if i could use another cover, from another model, or another idea?

    Its a Mx-5 NB.

    Thanks for your help

You might check with MazdaNissanHeaven. They are a salvage yard and on the forum as well.

You may want to search the Pointy Board to find the part number. I remember reading something that you can get it much cheaper from the Ford dealers.

There was some Mercury that had the same ones... you'll find it on the Pointy Board.

Carefull what you ask over there. They can be real anal if you ask a question that has already been answered many times.

Mercury Marauder fog lights dont work, I know I looked. I am currently doing a conversion to a Hella pt#009998021 90mm projector beam equipt with hi/low beams. Hella never responded back to me on cost so I went through google shopping and found them for 146.00 and the Hella pt#008193027 90mm for 74.00. 008193027 has a small projector with a chrome back ground trim and is a driving light only, and 009998021 is a larger projector with the hi/low beam function. Both have exactly the same size lenz on them that match the NB OEM part. Just got mine yesterday and have to wait till next week to get them into the car. Since the lights I got are longer, the 4 secrws that hold the light to the bumper will need to be braced so thats what I will be working on. I did notice the 4 mounting points are a little off, I might have to modify it a bit to bolt up properly.

The parts group has a set of fog lights out of a 2001 model for $100.
