Chrome Shop

anyone have a chrome shop they would recommend? found a light fixture in the attic when we bought our house and think it would be pretty cool if it were chrome..

I know where you could get it siver or nickel plated. Noles Davis specializes in anique restoration. They are off of Manor way just east of the green line tracks near Love field.

For a shop that is not into plating antiques, but might do it would be Texas Precission Plating in Garland. They are a block north of Forest close to the blue line station between Jupiter and Shiloh.

In Fort Worth, there is a plce that specializes in Harley Chome plating, but I can't remember the name.

BTW, It would be cheaper to go get a new lamp in the style you want chrome plated already.

It does'nt look like their website is up anymore. A lot of the cities have been trying to shut down plating shops because they are nasty. The city of Dallas would not let Noles Davis move into a new building when they bought the land next door to their original shop. I go to Texas Precision and Noles every week. Gina, Betty and Buddy are good folks at Noles. They also have examples for sale hanging in their front room of all the different plating colors.
