They are pretty good for drag. They don't wear out too fast too because until you warm them up they are a hard compound. The rain will not be fun with them however. .
A friend of mine has a high horsepower muscle car and is going to run 17" tires on it. He has bee doing some research on these Nitto 555r tires, does anyone have any experience with how they hold up from launch with a high horsepower car?
I learned this the hard way.....
Take all of your valuables out of your car at night. This includes taking the mounting hardware off of your windshield or dash and hiding the power supplies. I lost over $ 1,000 to a thief with no hope of recovering my items and to top if off they smashed my window in the rain and my truck got soaked. Let my loss be your learning experience.
