Thread: Scissor Lifts

    Default Scissor Lifts

I've been looking at different lifts to install in my new shop. (santa if pouring concrete this coming week) Anyone have any experience with them particularly 10ft models and whether there are scissor lifts that have enough room between the rails to drop a tranny. Building height restrictions limit me to a 10ft post lift or using scissor.

    Thanks

The scissor lifts I have seen don't allow you good access to the bottom of the car. Why not get a two or four post lift?

If ceiling height is the issue, check this one out.

Nice product but I was looking for a little more capacity. Love the utility of it though.

    Thanks

It says it is rated for 6000 pounds. What are you going to be lifting? It seems that something over 6000 pounds will be too tall to lift very high inside the shop.

Our trucks. Can't lift them very high but you can get all four wheels off the ground.

I have a Bendpack P6 scissor lift. You are welcome to come over and try it out if you like... just shoot me a PM.
