Make sure your battery is secure and there is no slop in the wheel bearings. Either of those could send you back home.

I call bullcrap on that Datsun cost. I don't think it ever completed a run.
It made it through 1 run which only cost me $25 because it was only on 2 tires.

WHOA! It must get about 25 runs on a fresh set of A6's
FA slicks are $365 each and last 1/2 a season. Rarely do they wear down to the cord before they get too hard to use.

Ok. D.A. question. I could not find Rapide Pax on AXWare. Is it hiding?

    Street tire v. R-comps
Using ER event #9 and Rapid Pax
The M3 could run BSP or STU
    My time was 53.693
    Using 2011 PAX
    Running BSP - 53.693 = 45.99 * .975 = 44.84
    Running STU - 53.693 = 44.86

Clearly BSP on Street tires in the way to go.
    M3 is always the answer.

That is like the difference between giving a certain corner worker the finger or not.

    No, that is much slower.
    M3 is always the answer.

goto AXWare--My Controls--My Garage--insert car----3rd line down is Pax - pull down to see r-Rapide Pax

You must have a car in your garage for each class and each club. There are some people that run one car in Open class and another car in Rapide Pax, so each must be in their garage.

So we decided on a few changes to the ER Events this year:

Tire Class Payout - Starting this weekend we will be awarding cash prizes to the top three trophy spots in tire class. These will be $15 for first, $10 for second, and $5 for third. These awards are for the top three "trophy" positions so if turnout is low in tire class only the top one or two drivers will receive cash. This is in addition to the normal ER trophy awards and you must enter rapid pax to be eligible. Also tire class drivers are still eligible to win regular pax monies but will not receive any handicap and can not switch classes for rapid pax (example I can't run TCSP for my regular runs and RSTS for pax runs). I know a lot of you guys have wanted a pax modifier for rapid pax and it has been discussed many times. Hopefully this is an appreciated compromise.

Tire Class Wheel Allowance - This season cars running tire class are allowed to change wheel diameter by one inch +/-. No additional change in width/offset is allowed. So miatas on 14's can run 15's and so forth. Hopefully this will allow many of the cars on 13s, 14s, 18s, and 19s to use many of the more commonly available competitive tires.

X Pro Class - This season we will be offering a paxed pro class similar to SCCA. All 4 runs will count.

Grid Procedures - We are going to be making some changes to the way grid is run. Things should run smoother and be more equitable for all competitors.

I could go to TGP, and the difference there pretty large:

    Raw time 52.645
    With STS Pax - 43.326
With GP Pax and Modifier - 42.962

That just shows how PAX is too low for STS and too high for STU.
    M3 is always the answer.

Cool. I changed my registration to X.

I like the changes. I am not sure if they will all work out or not, but it is still nice to see some change and attempts at something new. Kudos.

    I like the changes.
I'll take all the credit if it works. If not, it was Ken's idea.

Cool, I like the changes. I think giving the miata's 15in tires is a good idea.

Not to stir the pot, as I like the changes and the consideration given to cars with odd wheel sizes, but I'd add the following suggestion:

    - Specifically allow NA Miatas to run any oem wheel size offered on any year NA. This allows early NA's that have 5.5" wheels to buy more-common and affordable 6" wheels like their NA bretheren. Simplifies wheel shopping without giving any major performance advantage, and makes all those cheap hollow spoke wheels available to early NA's.

I would not have a problem with OZMDD changes.

We are allowing all cars in tire class to change wheel diameter by 1". This is an attempt to let all competitors have equal access to various tire brands, some of which are not available in 14". There is no effort to equalize any one particular car to another.
