Supertrapp saved my butt. I think I was at 96 at my highest in the morning run and I had so few discs in that the car bogged down and lost power in the second cam due to so much back pressure... May as well have kept the 1zz, afternoon I tried 7 plates and still passed sound, this time I was able to hit lift and use my entire rev range which was nice, though the power loss was still noticeable /excuses.





I think these may have been my fastest morning runs... which isn't saying much. Wish I hadn't run out of memory on the GoPro, forgot I had tested my Zi8 on the same memory stick.

I've had supertrapps before (on an MR2) and found that reducing the discs enough to limit the sound really killed the power. I was dialy driving mine so I would run something like 12 discs on the course and 3 or 4 on the street. With more than 4 discs I might as well have had an open pipe. With less than 4 it was like a banana in the tail pipe. Who has a smiley for a banana in the tail pipe?
