Nothing like the whine of a SC at full throttle!
Just be glad you don't get 15mpg on 93 octane. High fuel prices + winter reformulated gas + rotary = sucky cost per mile. :-/

I put gas in the Corolla when it was at 2.80/gallon. A little over a week later, and it's at 2.99/gallon.
Several months ago I was driving a Ford V10 turbo diesel. $20 got me a quarter tank. :/
It's a rare limited edition.
Kind of like the rare V6 turbo diesel Dodge Cummins pickup.

On the bright side my mpg has gone up quite a bit due to the cold weather last week. 35 mpg up from 27. Still, 3.27 for super isn't any fun.
Man I just saw super for $3.49 at the Chevron at Forest and 75![]()

Price is going up because the Trans Alaska pipeline had to be shut down to repair a leak in the #1 pump station at Prudoe Bay. Its back to capacity now using a shunt around the damaged area but they will have to shut is down again after the repair is made to remove the bypass.
*1 here. Unfortunately, that only gives me 3/4 of a tank on my truck.
Gas at Costco is still right at 3 bucks for 93 octane.
