Crap! Sorry to hear this. I never heard anything back from you after landing, so I assumed you had made it home.

Looks to me that both the front and rear bumpers will need paint work. And then there is the suspension... the front wheel is now WAY out of alignment and the rear wheel has a noticeable wobble, so there are definitely bent suspension parts.

Well I have to admit it doesn't look as bad as it sounded. Good luck!

Yeah... it could have been a lot worse. I was only going about 35 at most, in a perfectly straight line when the rear end suddenly decided to pass the front up. I then slide almost completely backwards to the wall, with the front fender making contact a split second before the rest of the car. Due to the incline, I believe the suspension was at full droop upon contact with the wall, allowing the wheels to take the rest of the impact. The car must have bounced off the wall before it came back down, as there is not even a scratch on the door or anything else between the wheels. Both wheels left half circle impressions in the wall, and that is pieces of concrete from the wall that are wedged between the rim and tire.

The scary part was the 2 hours waiting for the tow truck, watching cars get sideways in the same place I lost it. I was sure it was just a matter of time before someone plowed into me. There was also the truck who stopped to check on me about 10 minutes after the accident... As he tried to leave, he fishtailed and his rear bumper missed my front bumper by about 6 inches. I forgot to take a picture, but there was a pile of bumper, grill, and tail light parts from at least 3 different cars sitting about 10 feet away from where I came to a stop.

Thanks everyone... my left side is sore from getting slammed against the door and window, but I think I will be fine. Right now I am just going to pray that the insurance company treats me well.

Your conscience should be clear... I had your number in hand and could have called you, but the sight from the plane of all the cars driving down the highway gave me a false sense of security.

Sorry to hear about your damage. I was very fortunate on Tuesday when I spun out on LBJ (near 75 Central) with no damage.

Since I see your car everytime I log in, I was wondering if you ever got it repaired. What is the current status.
