We get all teh SIRIUS stations with my DISH setup at the house.. I love being able to listen to decent music since all of the stations here blow goats...
I'm with you.. Just gotta scrounge up some $$ for teh stock unit.
It's super. Being that I own over 1,000 CDs, I'm something of a music, er, fan. SIRIUS is like a dream come true. We have it in the house now. The 04-05 Miata Bose system is SIRIUS compatible, and when I can scrounge up $300 for the Mazda receiver, I'll put it in the Miata, too. Ooo... tough decision: where to mount the antenna? I'm thinking middle of the rear decklid in between the trunk and top.
This is my favorite discovery in a long time.

I have a Kenwood head unit with Sirrius in my Shinsen. I love it. At the installer's suggestion, we put the antenna on the dash on the passenger side, in the window by the pillar.
I had doubts, but it seems to work fine. I've had it about six months. Nothing like driving 1800 miles without having to change stations...
