    Default WTB: 195/50/15 or 205/50/15

I know it might be a long shot but Ill see if I can get anything from here.

Looking for a set of 195/50/15 or 205/50/15 tires with at least 50% tread, my tires are gone on the inside and I need a cheap replacement. Even almost new tires would be fine if the price is right.

You should pm jrj512. I know he is about to replace his autox tires, so his previous street tires or the old star specs might be availalbe cheap.

Aren't Star Specs a little too soft for street tires? Just curious.

They seem to be a common choice for performance street tires.

Star Specs are spectacular street tires. I had them on my S2000 last year. 16k miles, 24+ autocrosses, 3 track outings and they were at 2/32" before I sold them on my old wheels. I picked up another set this month for my new wheels and I will probably get some for my Miata.

If Matt doesn't want them, I might... I have to get my car inspected within the next couple of weeks and my current tires aren't going to pass. I need cheap though or to at least borrow a set of wheels for a day if possible...

You can have them Joel, they don't have enough tread for my liking.

24+ autocrosses!? You must have missed Mineral Wells lol
My set lasted under 15k miles... that's only with 7 autocrosses or so, but a lot of daily driving in the city and a good amount of negative camber.
Not to mention they're not what one would consider quiet on the streets... I have another set on my RPF1s now, but I'm setting those aside for AX days, don't wanna waste them on the streets.

That being said, they have a lot better tread wear than their competitors. I think they're the best bang for the buck in their respective category.
