I too am interested, but being 1.5 hours SW of Pennington it could be 4 hours if NW of Pennington or 1 hour if W or S, so me being in or out depends on location

so give us a clue as to direction

I may be interest in about 3 years if my kid decides to Go to ACU or Hardin-Simmons University.

165 miles from Pennington Field that's not terrible.

Pencil me in as a maybe as I wait to hear where in Abilene this will take place.

Google says Abilene is 206 miles (3 hours, 41 minutes) from my house. As much as I'd like to try a new site, that's an awful long way. I'd have to pass.

I'm still in. Abilene ain't that far, especially since I-20 has no speed limit west of MW! :)

I'd grab a hotel Friday night and hit a college bar. Hooray for repressed Baptist and COC college kids!!

Since when?? 70x3=210, assuming you can limit yourself to the speed limit, my fast friend.

At about 3 hours and 40 minutes also. I would not go, (I reserve the right to change my mind) just too many events much closer.

Put us on the list. Not too far since we're already on the western fringe of the westoplex.

225 miles from Woodbine, not too likely for me. But, like Robert, I reserve the right to change my mind.

It's starting to look pretty good for this event to happen. It will be a mini-div because the Amarillo/Lubbock SCCA group has pledged to bring between 10 and 20 cars out.

I would go if it were a two day event. Too far unless it was something special.

So, I was thinking. I already have overnight (multi-night) events at San Antonio, Houston, and Lincoln. Plus, three long weekend events, here (Pro Solo, Tire Challenge, and Div). I am not really up for another multi-day event out of town, so if it is multi-day, then I am out. Really, running with five clubs locally, I am not sure that I need another single-day event.
