Thread: running wires through firewall

    Default running wires through firewall

Where is the easiest spot to run wires through the firewall? I found a plug on the passenger side, but it appeared to go behind the heater after tearing back the carpet some and then getting behind the glove box. I would like some suggestions before starting to tear out the carpet to much.

I usually use the large hole that much of the wiring already runs through on the drivers side. While it is easy to see from the engine bay, it is not possible to see it from the drivers side foot-well. Patience will allow you to feel your way to it.

    Ahhhh...
It can be seen, but not seen...it will require patience, but I will achieve much with my Tiger Blood
Sorry, I couldn't resist! Thanks for the info, I can run it pretty clean from that side.

    Yeah, it was a MSM.

    from the owner:

Insurance fire investigation stated that the cause of the fire was due to a faulty ground wire on the right side of the transmission.
Although everyone on the MSM board and the owner don't believe that, the owner decided to leave it be and take the insurance money.
