I'm thankful that there are so many great clubs in the area. On any given weekend there are two events to enter and we have 5 or more sites available. With all that availability the pool of participants continues to expand. The rising tide floats all boats.

I guess I could have put an American car on the poster. There is a veteran driving the BMW if that helps any.

Phew. Work's been INSANE since about the first of March, but I'm FINALLY going to get to drive again this weekend. Wish I was able to do both events (NTAXS and this one), but my social coordinator has demanded Saturday.

Anyway... see you all on Sunday. I'm totally unprepared, but what the heck!!!

There will be more than that. We have several walk-ups at every event.

Jimmy Jan put in a plug for ER today at NTXAS. Hope they all come out!

He was actually plugging the local emergency room... KenO beat him up a little today.

Fun day today. Having so few entrants made for a quick day! 8 runs and on the road before 1pm.

Robert Jones is diabolical when he designs for MW.

    I hate Jimmy Jan.

I know some people did not like the course, but I did. Just as we need simple fast courses like at the Divs, we also need courses like this, which require patience and disipline. It would not be a good course for a National Tour, but it was great exercise for a regional event. It drove much better than it walked.

    8 runs. Woo-hoo!

    I love Mike McShane.

I saw that you two stopped off the highway together for a quickie on the way back.

I'm on the side of Robert Jones being diabolical at Mineral Wells! My little arms still hurt from all the evil transitions!

Nice job by lostlorin on winning ES today he and I have been having some fierce battles this season!

I was even able to pedal the POSIV to a 5th place finish in PAX today which aint bad for a car assembled from junkyard parts and MME Classifieds finds!

Hopefully we raised a few dollars for the Reserve Aid!

For the record I am uncomfortable with the jrj512 & OZMDD "relationship" and I can't understand what is up with these young kids and their pastel painted rims!

As cone-cerned would say this was the best autocross I attended today!

There was nothing "quick" about it. We had to wait for POS to arrive with the aardvark.

"Robert Jones is diabolical when he designs for MW."

I'll take that as a complement.

Because of the low turn out I tried to design a course that would be easy to work and still a challenge to drive. Looking at the results we only had 7 cones hit, so I think the easy to work part was successful. I always like feedback both good and bad. If it's bad tell what you would have done different to make it better. I still have a lot to learn about course design. They never driver the way I think they will. I enjoyed the course but It's more important that I make most of the other drivers happy.
