Why'd you put the slow STR car on the poster?

Is this a event that a Rookie like me could race in?

Yes, but you will be on your own on course. They don't allow passengers or instructors. (no seeing the course at speed before your runs)

    Its complicated:
    You'll need 1 envelope, 1 pen, 1 stamp and a check...

Let me consult my Old Tyme Correspondence Manual for the rest of the details and I'll get back to you.

Yeah, but that was with some twelve-pound hired gun at the wheel.

But I believe you were also skirted that weekend by the same 'slow' car...
    (by almost .4 seconds...)

Honestly, we haven't figured out the magic for that car on non-grippy surfaces... Hope we get it sorted before the divisional... trying lots of stuff the last couple of weekends... none of it has worked... hoping we haven't messed it up too bad for the grippy concrete in Lincoln.

    D'oh! Forgot about that...

The Div should be fun. I talked to Jeff Schaadt this morning, and he and Jean are hoping to have their MX-5 ready for STR in time as well.
