And the mustard should be applied directly to the meat, not on the bun.

Sorry guys... mustard just doesn't agree with my taste buds. Nails, In-N-Out refers to that as "Mustard Grilled", but it isn't on the regular menu.

Had them a couple of years ago on the worst coast. Not good enough to warrent all the hype. Not bad, but like others have said, I would not go out of my way for one.

I've had In-n-Out burger several times. They are ok. I think once the novelty wears off, it will just be another burger place.

5 guys tastes better on the east coast than it does here. Not sure how one screws up a cheeseburger by moving it 1500 miles west, but they did. i'm still waiting for the InO in Garland to open so that there's one on the way home from my favorite mountain bike trail. Everything tastes better when you have a fresh head injury!

Anybody tried one of these in downtown Dallas? Saw it on the news last night.

When they came to Vegas, folks were jizzing their pants too (lots of Ca transplants). It was meh for me. Gimme a good White Castle dozen any day.

I had an In-n-Out burger in San Francisco last fall. And, of all the burgers I have eaten, it was certainly one of them.

Well, I'm from California, and have always loved In-N-Out, so I'm looking forward to trying the one here.

I don't think anything could live up to some of the hype floating around, but they make one of the best fast-food burgers I've ever tasted, and at a reasonable price. There's a place in Austin that's a virtual carbon-copy of INO called P.Terry's. I'd put them on the same level. Five Guys isn't bad, but it is overpriced, and for the money I'd rather go to Snuffer's.

I do love Whataburger, but when they disappoint they really suck.
Oh, well I've got two sevens, and two sevens beats a frush.

For the record, I'm actually looking forward to In-n-Out, as Sonic has disappointed me lately, and my preferred "good" burger joints - Twisted Root, JC's and Scotty P's - are a bit on the heavy side.

Went by In-N-Out in Allen at around 2:30 yesterday and the line was still huge. I'll wait until the fascination dies down to introduce the family to an "Animal Style".

It's pretty good but not standing in line for any given amount of time good. There's so much good food in LA that I typically skip it when I go unless I need a quick meal. I'll go in 6 months after all the idiots that stood in line for 3 hours realize it was a giant let down and don't go back.

Go sell bottle water to the idiots in line. I bet they would pay $5 per bottle.
