so i'm tired of sixace (and others) nagging me about my stock seats and i'm ready to step up to proper seats for the 10AE.
i'm looking for advice on seats that are cheap and relatively easy to install. i'm 5'8" and 150 lbs, so i don't care about seat height. TIA
i need a better phrase...
punching six ace is easier then buying a seat.
is it? lol..... i think he'd knock your head off jeff.![]()
would still be easier.
would look into some ultra shield stuff, they will make you what ever you want. you can even drive to tyler and get fitted for a seat. they will make one that fits your like a sexy glove.
I'm pretty happy with my TDR branded US seats. These cars are so narrow and so short that it's really tough to get seats right. I was also required to chop-off the rear seat mounts and bolt to the floor.
TXMC: Drinkin, shootin, racin!
I have a Sparco Sprint 5 that was on the passenger side in my car I'll sell ($200 w/slider). SOLD.
It doesn't fit an NB with doorbars so if you're thinking of adding those then the US or the Kirkey (sp?) are the way to go.
99, MP62, Tien Monoflex, 949/V8 Roadster Control Arms, Wilwood BBK, RB Front sway, Stock Rear Bar, That's the main stuff
I sent an email to ya Mini-P!
First, thx sixace. I got there a bit late...like me at an apex
Ultrashield is out of Tyler...I had no idea.
TDR- Track Dog Racing? Do they custom fit, too?
i need a better phrase...
TDR (Track Dog Racing) took a Miata with a Hard Dog rollbar out to Ultrashield and had them make one custom for them to sell. As I recall, it features a crease in the upper back that allows it to go further back without interfering with the rollbar, and the harness holes are better placed for the Miata harness mounting points.
