Thread: Re-using rain rail

    Default Re-using rain rail

Just sourced a soft top on frame for my car.... what are the chances I'm going to be able to reuse my rain rail (no leaks right now). Should I just suck it up and order one ahead of time?

Depends. You never really know until you pull it. I personally prefer the replacement RR as it is made of rubber instead of brittle plastic. I've done my best to salvage some in the past but some are just to worse for wear. Lots of Gorilla tape if you decide to try it.

looks like we did get the house, so it will be chewing gum and duct tape on the rain rail... lol
