    Default 99 NB from Denton

Hello all. I purchased my 99 Miata a couple of months back and have just recently started to modify it. It came with a no name exhaust, and I've added a Hard Dog double diagonal roll bar and raceland coilovers. I hope to continue modify and enter sanctioned events in the future.

Welcome, have fun with your Miata.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Thanks, I am probably going to need some seniors' advice on how to properly set up the car and what class specific parts are allowed; if you have any wisdom don't refrain from imparting.

I've seen your car once, but I was in my Civic hatch. See post #36, that's my car under the tree.

I'll keep an eye out on your black NA. The Civic hatch is lost....to many of those in town.

What direction are you heading? A track toy or AutoX car? What class? IMHO, you should come out and do a couple local Autocrosses and learn a little about the car before you start modding.

I think the street prepped class would be the best bet, the car isn't stock as it sits, so I want to slide into the lowest level possible with what I've already got. I'm really just looking to build up a fun and relatively reliable vehicle.

If I don't have to work, I'll try to come out Sunday to at least spectate and get an idea of what's what.

Will do, shoot me a pic of your car so I know who to look for. Is there an entrance fee to go spectate, or can I just show up and hang out?

No cost to spectate. Just make sure you sign the waiver (probably will have someone at the lot entrance) to make the insurance people happy. Sent you a PM.
