why WOULDNT you be able to?
There is a swap in the future for my daily driver and I think I can do it with aggressive cam timing and a good tune. What are your thoughts?
It will be the ugliest car you've ever seen with a swap engine, stand-alone computer, 6-speed, 3.63, on stock suspension with a broke swaybar mount.

Rename this thread to: How to make 150+ whp with a VVT motor
01+ with tuning is good for 130hp, full exhaust and intakes 140hp, reducing drive train loss and gutted intake should get you the rest.
Should be easy as...
'94 Black & Black & Tan
'99 head swap, JR header, TDR intake & header blanket, MegaSquirt, RB hollow bar, Tein Flex, 15x8 6ULs, HD M2 Sport, FM cat, Borla cat-back, black '95M interior, MOMO Zebrano, IL Motorsport console...
Dyno Days
8/16/08 (bone stock): 103.1 hp/99.0 lb-ft - Dynojet
8/23/08 (Borla cat-back): 108.2 hp/104.1 lb-ft - Dynojet
8/13/11 (more stuff...): 126 hp/116 lb-ft - Mustang dyno
Roger Moore: the Danny White of James Bonds
It can be done... I will have to look up his thread for you on ClubRoadster. (LOL) I'll PM you some details later.
I use to worry about money; but then realized I don't HAVE anything to worry about.
