Thread: Machine Shop to enlarge wheel bolt holes?

Default Machine Shop to enlarge wheel bolt holes?

I bought a set of wheels from a member off his NA Miata with the intent to use them on our Mini. The bolt pattern is correct as is the offset but I didn't bother to check the bolt hole sizes. It turns out the wheel bolts on the Mini are a larger diameter than the Miata. Does anyone know a machine shop that could bore the bolt holes out to a slightly larger size? I'm guessing it's probably only a few mm.

I wouldn't think that's very precise. And a wheel flying off at 70 mph is nothing to sneeze at.

BAM! Minette is the man... I've had a few projects done by Mike. He's the man for quality custom machine/fab/welding work. You might need to bird-dog him for small jobs, but he'll do it right the first time, every time.

When/if you go to his shop, take a walk around his home-built Quad 4/MGB toy. Also take a walk around his daily driver lime-green Honda Civic wagon...

    He's super-nice/super-shy/super-talented...
