Miataspeedracer, since you seem to be the arbiter of taste and have a good handle on judging cars, please give us an absolute test to tell what cars should and should not be allowed at C&C. No fuzzy descriptions, but some absolute rules so anyone manning the entrance can turn away those undesirables that shouldn't be seen.

And don't say "not seen in a grocery store parking lot" because I've seen almost every type of exotic at that show in a grocery store parking lot at one time or another. You just have to live in the right part of town. I am usually bored by the stock exotics.

Well lets talk Miatas since this is a Miata board. IMHO, the vast majority of our Miatas belong in the spectator lot. I parked mine in the show lot once and I felt like I should not be there. Steve's old and new Miatas both belong in the show lot. I saw a v8 Miata there once and it deserved to be there. Black Roadster's Miata deserves to be there when it is in one piece. I will probably feel comfortable parking my Sunburst there once I get it back from Rogue, but could not see ever feeling comfortable parking the 93LE there. There are a few others on this board that I would likely endorse, but not many.

Well, I appreciate that compliment. Didn't realize that you knew me personally. But you must, since you obviously understand that I know everything and am always correct. So feel free to submit to me your car show applicants, and I'd be happy to rule on show-worthiness...

Poor Stevan. So much abuse. He works to improve your car cosmetically, never seen him wear them, Titus.

Unless your Miata is all stock and a little rough you shouldn't worry about parking with the "cool cars!" I would feel fine parking mine in the show area, its not perfect but with the candy Porsche blue paint, fat rims and rear flairs I get customers at work driving 2011 Jags, M5's etc commenting on "that blue car" in they just parked next too when I help them out! It's not a Ferrari but it gets attention!
90 MX5 281k miles! - euro spec, Porsche Riviera Blue w/black hardtop, 97 motor swap, vintage Borbet rims, GC, FM shock hats/frame rails/rear sub-brace, AGX, sway bar, stb, Fidanza/ACT combo, EBC Yellows

92 COMMA SM - new paint coming soon...

If you don't get there by 9 AM, you are parking in the spectator's lot no matter what you drive. That place is always full by 7:30.
