Never left because of a course design. Have left because of a decision to do runs in two segments...... and once because of a hangover I think.

    +1 on TxCoyote quote.

I did not see anything major wrong with the course, a few tweeks AFTER driving it yes, but I can say that about just about any course.

I liked it and found it challanging to drive right, and forced you to look ahead or pay the price.

I saw the and was worried no one called it in being the last run of the event.

Some pull ties is all it took to fix the reflector on that hit.

Your car was amazing to watch on the course.

Next event is at Mineral Wells. The more drivers that show up the better the competition.

Kenny was grumbling about having to fix the reflector. I personally heard him say "I'll get even with that guy, even if I have to make up a phony cone call and knock him out of first in PAX."

    Exactly Robert!

Had a great time, and with that, the folks at the events make the thing fun also!

Mike, I really enjoyed the course. I liked the speed of the start section - dodging cones with my foot flat to the floor. Trying to figure out the fastest way through the walls in the back was a cool challenge. It turned out going to the right of the first wall was the faster way through, but I was unsure until I ran it both ways. You really had to give up some speed early to be able to make it though. The finish was kinda weird, but overall I thought it was really fun to drive and very challenging to get right.

    Thanks for the compliments Kenny!

Did you actually see me hit the cone? I had 4ppl watching that said the run was clean. Oh well.

I agree with Marks comments about the course.

P.S. I didn't like the finish though, which is why I took out the timing gear :p

    Jim Harris,
Welcome to STR. We are getting a good local crowd in the class now. I am happy to have another in the class since we lost Greg when he moved.

Today, I can't say I saw you hit the cone. But the cone was down for sure after you crossed the finish.
It was on the last segment before the finish lights. If it was down before you got there... Well you know
    how that goes.

I saw you hit it. It was the one right at the turn to the finish. Sorry.

You should run video. One front and one rear. It's the only way to make sure you aren't a cheater.

I actually recommend an 11 camera setup

2 per wheel facing forward and backwards
1 facing forward overlooking the front end
    1 facing backwards
    1 in-car for driver input

Only then can you really know.

They just needed more camera angles. Also HD cameras would have been helpful, but then the autobot ship would have been discovered.
