I had problems getting my old-school CG to grip the plastic frame on the buckle insert on Mike's NC. New ones might work better. I would imagine that one that works on an NC would work on an NA, but maybe not vice versa.
I thought seat belt buckles (and CG Locks) were different for the NA's, NB's & NC's..... anyone know for sure?

I have always dremeled a small notch on the convex side to assist the cg-lock in biting...

It only goes to show when people can no longer discriminate on the grounds of race, religion, or sexual orientation, they can improvise and still find someone to hate. - Dave Moulton
Mine old one worked on both NA & NB. No experience with NC.

It is the same for all belts that are "single pass" and not doubled back. I think the newer CG locks are machined a little deeper, but it fits old and new Miatas. The NC has a slightly thicker buckle. I bought some longer allen screws so it was easy to loosen and remove without backing the screws all the way out.
