Also Can we run with the top down or do I need to bring my hardtop?

Have to make an account and then search for it, it's under Maverick Region. Might be an easier way, but that's how I did it.

I think we can run with/out a hard top. Mine is in the paint shop, so I will not have a hard top.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

According to the PCA website, you can run with top down, windows up or down (not partial), and hardtop is not required. I don't think there is a rollbar requirement for their TT, only their DE events.

I have run their time trials before in my NC without a problem, and I am 99% sure the NA/NB cars have run them w/o roll bars.

Can anyone confirm that it is the 1.3 that we'll be running? And if so, which direction - CW or CCW?

Ken O, or altiain - got any videos we can study?
I've got an old one . Sorry about the video quality.

I only bothered with the camera in one session yesterday, but I may have a few decent laps from the S2000. Let me take a look tonight.

I highly doubt MSR would let LSRPCA run the 1.3 CW. I've done it once in an instructor clinic with Apex. It's a hoot, but it's way too dangerous in that direction for newbs. I don't even think they let members run that configuration.

Hell, the 1.3 is tricky going CCW.

1:08.9 was my best on Star Specs. I have the data but cannot remember what video it overlays on. It was from 2009.
    M3 is always the answer.

That's a pretty good lap time. Best I ever managed in the RX-8 was the 1:11.08 in the video I posted earlier. Hollis managed a 1:08.6 in the One Lap CRX yesterday.

Here's some much better quality footage from yesterday morning. Looks like 1:13-1:14s to me (I wasn't running data, so who knows?) I need better shocks and something a little stickier than my daily driver 'kook V12s. A set of ASTs and 255 RS-3s and I think I could get it into the 1:09s.

    Running rules at MSR:
I was concerned by someone's post about running top down so I checked with Travis.
We have to run the event at MSR under DE rules. Tops up unless you have an approved roll bar and arm restraints.
Remember this is a real racetrack and they have minimum rules we have to adhere to.

*IF* I can find them, I willl bring my arm restraints. They worked with my center latch harness...but do not know they will work with stock seat belt.
